GS1 DataBar EPS File – For Coupons  More Info

DataBar portion encodes complete GS1 Company Prefix Number preceded by a “0” for U.S. followed by a hyphen and then a 6 digit Offer Code, example:  0897138002-000001

ENTER THE FOLLOWING IN THE GREY BOX:

1) GS1 Company Prefix Number, example:  0897138002

2) Family Code (this can be a 3 digit number representing the product(s) that this offer applies to) or commonly 000 is used.  You will need to communicate the 3 digit code to all retailers.  No communication is necessary with “000” family code.

3) Value of the coupon (represents redemption value of the coupon), example:  $2.00 off one product (please be descriptive)

4) Starting Date for coupon, example:  08/01/2024 (optional)  Including a starting date will increase the size of the barcode width.

5) Expiration Date for coupon, example:  12/31/2025

6) Is this your first coupon offer with us?  If not, what was your last 6 digit offer code on your most recent coupon?

7) Is this an “in-store” coupon?  For example, will this coupon be distributed in a store?

8) Can this coupon be doubled?
